Harrison Dillard and Herb Douglas both competed, and placed, in the 1948 London Olympic Games. Although being a part of the Olympics was a huge lifetime wish come true, they both shared another dream; to meet President Obama. Both Harrison and Herb never believed they would have the opportunity to meet the first black president and they loved every minute of it.
